About
The Technical Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for identifying and evaluating the business vision and problem to solve, ensuring that client delivery projects follow our delivery & product design methodologies.
Responsibilities
Initiate and lead the necessary meetings to evaluate and fully understand the clients’ requirements for the project. Ensure that each meeting has a set agenda and that the resulting minutes and actions are logged and executed
Serves as primary contact between technology and business end-users in understanding the specific business requirements, criticality and prioritization of business capability.
Document current processes and models to understand inefficiencies or gaps
Work closely with stakeholders to define personas and jobs to be done that represent the types of users that will interact with the product as well as how and why they will use the product
Work closely with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Engineering Leads to document technology solutions that meet client and business needs
Translate conceptual user requirements into clear, detailed functional requirements in user story format
Research relevant business area(s) in order to recommend solutions and build high-quality requirements based on the vision and objectives of the project
Support the Product Design team to ensure that the proposed designs (architectural diagrams, wireframes, user interfaces, etc.) fully match the clients’ requirements and specifications for the product
Help set up and utilize Jira project management board for each new client project
Determine the right balance between agile processes and formal documentation
Review delivery team output to ensure requirements are correctly interpreted; define and execute test cases.
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required
3+ years in a business, systems or product analyst role
Experience producing business architecture documentation and presentations that include customer journeys, domain models, capability models, interaction diagrams
Excellent customer service skills with ability to interpret end user questions and troubleshoot
Strong interpersonal skills, conducive to the client and team development
Ability to understand and evaluate a wide variety of client business models and requirements
Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously
Skilled at applying technology solutions to business requirements and explaining or presenting solutions in terms the client will understand
Application of analytical and logical approaches to problem-solving
Experience of utilizing Agile project management methodologies, Jira project boards, Figma design application, Slack, Google Docs and associated project management applications
Impeccable attention to detail and organization skills
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience creating artifacts such as business case documentation or business requirements
Comfortable working with ambiguity at the beginning of projects, with ability to provide clarity of direction despite this

Desirable
Knowledge of blockchain, smart contracts, and Decentralized Finance (DeFi)
Knowledge of SaaS based infrastructure
Experience in defining and documenting technical architectures to be used for final code development
Prior experience taking a product from ideation to launch
